MICAH RICHARDS

Micah Richards is a former Premier League Winner and England international, who has received widespread praise for his arrival into the punditry scene since he retired in the summer of 2019.

 

Micah now works across numerous TV and Radio shows for Sky Sports, CBS and the BBC. Additionally Micah has a column with the Daily Mail.

 

During his playing career, Micah lifted the Premier League title with Manchester City in the historic 2011-12 season where they pipped Manchester United to the title on an extraordinary final day of the season.

 

Micah made a total of 203 Premier League appearances, scoring seven goals in that time for Manchester City and Aston Villa. During his time at Manchester City he was a pivotal member of the squad that transformed from a mid-table club, to FA Cup (2011) and Premier League Champions (twice) in the space of just a few years.

 

Having burst on to the football scene aged 17, Micah became and remains the youngest defender to ever feature for England. Micah was also part of the Team GB football squad at the London Olympics in 2012.
