Football legends present FA Grassroots awards 2025 at Wembley

Ahead of the FA Community Shield final between Liverpool and Crystal Palace, a group of football legends were on hand to present the 2025 FA Grassroots Awards.

Rachel Yankey, Sue Smith, Paul Merson, Rachel Brown-Finnis, Emile Heskey and John Barnes paid tribute to those who make a huge difference in their communities, highlighting the tireless work that goes into making football an inclusive game for all.

The awards were presented by Match of the Day and Sky Sports host Mark Chapman, with the winners also treated to unique experiences throughout the day to celebrate.

A huge congratulations to everyone who won an award, and a big thank you to the FA grassroots team for a fantastic day.
