Former Liverpool legend John Barnes and Newcastle icon Shay Given conducted the Carabao Cup draw for the EFL, live on Sky Sports.
Both were on hand to share their thoughts on the upcoming season and how they believe their sides will perform in the league and cup competitions.
Even without Premier League sides involved in the draw, some exciting ties were pulled out, including Blackburn vs Bradford, Birmingham vs Sheffield United, and Bromley vs Ipswich.
