On Saturday Micah Richards was back on Sky Sports for Saturday Night Football. Micah was alongside Jamie Redknapp and host Kelly Cates.
The first game of the evening saw Manchester City host Chelsea and a win would see Micah's former side City clinch their third title under Pep Guardiola. Manchester City went 1-0 on the brink of half time and had a chance to double their lead a minute later, but an attempted Panenka from Sergio Aguero went straight into the hands of the Chelsea goalkeeper Eduard Mendy. Chelsea came out flying in the second half and equalised thanks to a fantastic strike from Hakim Ziyech. City were then denied, what looked an obvious penalty, after a foul on Raheem Sterling by Kurt Zouma before Chelsea stole all three points thanks to Marcos Alonso. The 2-1 victory all but secured Chelsea's hopes of a top 4 finish and means City will have to wait another week before securing the title.
The second game of the evening saw Liverpool host Southampton at Anfield. Liverpool probably have to win all of their remaining games if they have any hope of finishing in the Top 4 this season. They got off to a good start as Sadio Mane scored after 30minutes. Southampton put up a good fight and made Liverpool work for it until the end as Thiago scored his first Liverpool goal in the 90th minute to secure the 2-0 win for the Reds.
